The picturesque town of Sitges, located 35km south of Barcelona, preserves important medieval influences and extends along 4km of beach. The old town is located on a hill next to the sea, surrounding a church, and offers an impressive architectural and cultural heritage. Also, the beautiful "La Ribera" beach, frequented by Sitges residents and some tourists, is one of the city´s most popular beaches. It stands out with its fine golden sand and calm waves.
